Das LC-101 ist ein benutzerfreundliches Lichtsteuermodul, das keine Spezialkenntnisse für Installation und Betrieb erfordert, und es wird keine Software benötigt, um die DO-Kanäle zu steuern.
Das LC-101 bietet 1 Kanal für Digitaleingang (Photokoppler-Isolation) und 1 Kanal für Relaisausgang. Der Ausgangskanal ist ein Relais vom Typ C, während der Eingangskanal auf einem Sink-Typ unter Verwendung einer Drahtverbindung basiert. Der Eingangskanal kann die EIN- und AUS-Sequenz des Relais direkt steuern, ohne dass ein externer Host-Controller erforderlich ist. 4 kV ESD-Schutz und 5000 Veff Intra-Modul-Isolation sind ebenfalls vorhanden.

Bei Bedarf ist die Kommunikation mit dem LC-101 auf Basis des Modbus RTU-Protokolls programmierbar, und ein zusätzlicher Vorteil ist, dass über die Hardwarekonfiguration verschiedene Adressen für die Modbus RTU-Kommunikation eingestellt werden können.
