LINX215 Automation Server

LINX-215 automation servers are programmable automation stations with integrated graphical visualization for central automation tasks in BACnet and LonMark networks. They can integrate physical I/O via L-IOB I/O modules, via LIOB-Connect, LIOB-FT or LIOB-IP. Local control and override are provided by the built-in jog dial and backlit display (128x64 pixels). Device and data point information are displayed on the screen using symbols and in text format.

 

LonMark systems can be integrated via IP-852 (Ethernet / IP) or TP/FT-10. In addition, the Automation Server provides connectivity to simultaneously integrate KNX, Modbus, and M-Bus and connect as gateway data points of different technological origin. Automaton servers have an integrated IP-852 router that provides the complete range of corresponding L-IP devices.

 

BACnet can be integrated via BACnet/IP or BACnetMS/TP. In addition, automation servers provide connectivity to simultaneously integrate KNX, Modbus, and M-Bus and connect as gateway data points of different technological origin. Optionally, mathematical objects can be applied within a connection to calculate data point output values based on the formula used. Automaton servers have a BACnet/IP router that includes BBMD and Slave-Proxy functionalities. LINX-215 is BTL certified as a B-BC (BACnet Building Controller).

 

Gateway functionality allows data communication between all available communication technologies on the device. Different technological data points are mapped via local connections on the device. Mapping different technological data points across distributed devices is supported by Global Connections. L-INX automation servers also support Smart Auto-Connect™: automatic generation of connections to substantially reduce engineering effort and costs. All technological data points are automatically created as OPCXML-DA and OPCUA data points.
