LDALI-MS2:BT:- Multi-sensor for presence and brightness detection The LOYTEC LDALI-MS2-BT multi-sensor performs presence detection and measures the lux level. It integrates seamlessly into the L-DALI product line of lighting controllers and LROC-40x room automation controllers. The occupancy sensor simultaneously uses a passive infrared and an acoustic presence detector. The sensor is optimized for use in typical office environments, where even small movements of people working at their desks and typing on keyboards need to be detected throughout the entire detection area. The LDALI-MS2-BT provides a presence detection zone with a diameter of 10.8 m at a 3 m mounting height and is ideal for covering a typical office room or an area in an open-plan office. Furthermore, it is suitable for high-bay applications for mounting heights up to 12 m. The detection area for mounting heights from 5 m to 12 m is 256 m2. With the integrated infrared receiver, room lights, blinds, and the HVAC system can be controlled via the optionally available L-RC1 IR remote control. In addition to occupancy and lux sensors, the LDALI-MS2-BT is equipped with integrated temperature and humidity sensors. In room automation applications, these values can be used to calculate the current dew point. On the back of the sensor, there is a connector for three digital inputs, which allows conventional switches and buttons, window contacts, dew point sensors, etc. to be connected. This feature not only saves additional hardware but also significantly reduces wiring costs, as inputs can be wired within the room and wires no longer need to be pulled to I/O modules in the electrical cabinet. Furthermore, the LDALI-MS2-BT can transmit all supported beacon types (iBeacon, Eddystone UID beacon, or manufacturer-specific LOYTEC beacons) for indoor localization. The LDALI-MS2-BT comes with three mounting options: It can be wall-mounted in standard flush-mounted boxes, spring-mounted in suspended ceilings, and wall-mounted with the included surface mounting box.   Communication and power are handled via the DALI bus.
