With the DALI Expander, it is possible to create a separate DALI sub-circuit and supply it with information and current. This allows other DALI operating devices in the DALI sub-circuit to be controlled via the DALI Expander's broadcast address. The DALI Expander can also directly control DALI devices in the sub-circuit via the switch & dim button input. The DALI Expander is equipped with an integrated DALI bus power supply for 90 DALI devices in the sub-circuit. In addition to the aforementioned possibility of increasing the number of operating devices in a DALI system, the expander can also be used to increase the line length by another 300 meters.
