Data Logger DLG-M2/DLG-A4/DLG-D16: interface with ModBus RTU and TCP devices

DLG is a family of data loggers that lets you interface with all ModBus RTU and TCP devices easily and without any programming, and send data remotely via the MQTT and HTTP REST protocols.

The built-in web server allows quick and intuitive configuration and viewing of all variables, as well as programming, data storage and Cloud transmission. The data sampled by the ModBus MQTT HTTP REST data logger is stored on a micro SD card. Once configured, each ModBus slave can be saved in device libraries for later reuse, saving a significant amount of time during subsequent configuration and installation. DLG implements the latest data security technologies, such as the TLS protocol and MQTT certificate management.

DLG allows you to configure each individual variable, with a sampling time ranging from 1 second up to 1 hour. The web server lets you configure network parameters, the data formatting mode (CSV or JSON), the time of remote data transmission and the parameters for MQTT transmission. It is also possible to mirror the variables to a remote ModBus TCP server. This is an ideal feature for duplicating information in a SCADA software or an advanced monitoring system.

The DLG line is dedicated to real-time recording and data analysis. Using the Ethernet connection, DLG units send data via MQTT, HTTP REST or FTP to remote servers for management through a portal. The most common applications are: metering (energy, water, gas), water treatment, renewables, industrial and process control, thermal power measurements, and agri-food monitoring.
