PLANET IGT-805AT is an industrial Gigabit media converter offering non-blocking wire-speed performance and great flexibility for Gigabit Ethernet extension in harsh industrial environments. It features one 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 copper interface and one 100/1000BASE-X SFP fiber optic interface, provided in a robust IP30 enclosure with a redundant power system. The IGT-805AT is particularly suitable for surveillance, control, and wireless service system deployment applications in climatically challenging environments with a wide temperature range from -40 to 75 degrees C. With 9K jumbo frame function support, the IGT-805AT can handle extremely large amounts of data transmission in a secure topology linking to a backbone or high-power servers.

Fiber Optic Linking Capability Enables Network Deployment Extension

The SFP mini-GBIC slots integrated into the IGT-805AT support dual speed via 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-SX/LX Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) fiber optic modules. Now, administrators can flexibly choose the appropriate SFP transceiver based not only on transmission distance but also on the required transmission speed. The distance can be extended from 550 meters to 2 km (multimode fiber) and up to 10/20/40/60/80/120 kilometers (single-mode fiber or WDM). They are ideal for applications within enterprise data centers and deployments.

Advanced Smart Management Features

The IGT-805AT offers auto MDI/MDI-X function on the TP port and built-in Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) function. The LFP function includes Link Loss Carry Forward (LLCF) and Link Loss Return (LLR), both of which can immediately alarm administrators to the link media problem and provide an efficient solution for network monitoring. 

LLCF means that when a device connected to the converter and the TP line loses its link, the fiber port of the converter disconnects the transmitting link. 
LLR means that when a device connected to the converter and the fiber line loses its link, the fiber port of the converter disconnects the transmitting link. 
Therefore, IGT-805AT greatly helps administrators manage the network efficiently.
