 ProtoCessor devices are part of a family of low-cost modules, already equipped with TTL-to-RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and LonWorks coprocessors. These enable rapid development of industrial OEM products for Building and Machine Automation.

The ProtoCessor model **FFP** (*Full Function ProtoCessor*) gives the developer the ability to fully configure the module via a file downloadable directly into the device, or via PC connection using the PCP driver. The ProtoCessor FFP includes a series of features that allow for great flexibility in design and development, for both small and large quantities.
 
 ProtoCessor **ASP** (*Application Specific ProtoCessor*) devices are the best solution for development and large-quantity production, while keeping costs down. ProtoCessor ASPs have a set of configurations encoded within them and dip switches to switch between configurations.
