CKL254: Modbus, Serial-to-Ethernet Gateway with 2 x 10/100Base-T(x) ports, 1 x RS232 serial port and 1 x RS485 serial port. VAC power supply.

CKL series Modbus, serial-to-Ethernet gateways can connect all field serial devices to the TCP/IP based network. It has 3 gateway operating modes. In transparent communication mode, it acts as a serial-to-Ethernet gateway and allows field serial devices to be controlled over the TCP/IP network. In Modbus TCP to RTU conversion mode, it can help the Modbus RTU device communicate with the Modbus TCP Master device or software over the TCP/IP network. In Modbus RTU to TCP conversion mode, it connects the Modbus RTU Master software or device to the TCP/IP network and allows it to communicate with Modbus TCP or RTU field devices. It is the only device solution that supports all Modbus TCP or RTU communication networks. REDZ Broadband Power Line (BPL) connection allows the device to communicate with a fully transparent TCP/IP standard over low voltage power lines and enables easy connection between TCP/IP based terminals without the use of additional cables.
