RAK7931:WisGate Connect Industrial

RAK7391 WisGate Connect is a Raspberry Pi CM4-based gateway product intended to support various radio modules and WisBlock. It features multiple interfaces to meet the needs of different developers (HDMI, Ethernet, USB, mPCIe, CSI, DSI, M.2, WisBlock, PoE, Raspberry Pi HAT). Naturally, it can also be used as a basic LoRaWAN gateway product supporting up to 4 separate modules (you can have a 16-channel sub-GHz LoRaWAN gateway plus a 2.4 GHz LoRaWAN gateway in the same device). It has flexible power modes such as DC terminal, Phoenix terminal, and POE (optional). The RAK7391 features a fan interface for CPU heat dissipation that can be controlled based on CPU temperature. It is capable of monitoring power. In the event of a power outage, ultracapacitors can provide power to the system, so it can send a notification or easily survive micro-cuts in the power supply.

- RTC with battery socket and CM4 wake-up capability
- Configuration jumpers (Wi-Fi and BLE enable/disable, EEPROM write enable, buzzer enable)

## Technical Specifications-Software

We have prepared a customized "distro" for WisGate Connect called RAKPiOS. RAKPiOS is a fork of the Raspberry Pi operating system with all the necessary drivers for using the device, some security modifications, helper scripts, and Docker included by default.

You can easily deploy different IoT services from a curated list of Docker containers available on the device.
