RAK19003: WisBlock Base Board

The WisBlock Base Board (RAK19003) is the base block for RAK WisBlock. It is the support for the WisBlock Core MCU module and two WisBlock modules with 24-pin WisConnectors. It allows engineers and makers to build prototypes with low effort, test different types of sensors, and develop applications. And because all WisBlock components and modules are industrial-grade, transitioning from development to mass production is not an issue. The WisBlock Base Board supports 3 different power sources as standard. Depending on the application, either 5V USB, 3.7V LiPo batteries and 5V solar panels, or a combination can be chosen. The WisBlock Base Board enables low-power applications with the option to turn the WisBlock sensor power on and off.

The WisBlock Base Board has a size of only 30 x 35 mm, allowing for the creation of solutions that fit into the smallest enclosures.

Note: If a non-rechargeable battery is used with the WisBlock base board, it must be disconnected before connecting the USB cable to the board's port to configure the device. Failure to do so may damage the battery and cause damage to both the battery and the board.
