KNX BAOS Module 830 kBerry: solution for KNX connectivity on a compact circuit

Our BAOS modules integrate a complete KNX node, comprising a transceiver and a microcontroller running the Weinzierl certified KNX stack. Possible applications for the modules include integration into sensors, actuators, communication devices, and even visualization devices. Communication with the modules occurs via the serial BAOS protocol in FT1.2 format. Additionally, the FT1.2 protocol allows for the transmission and reception of KNX telegrams in cEMI (Common External Message Interface) format.

## Rapid start to KNX device development

To quickly begin KNX device development, we recommend our KNX BAOS Starter Kit. It contains a development board and two KNX BAOS modules. We provide a free demo project for the development board that implements the BAOS protocol and a simple application. A demo tool for Windows® is available to test the BAOS protocol from a PC.

A generic ETS (Engineering Tool Software) database is available to set data types and link communication objects. Of course, it is also possible to create individual databases for your own devices. KNX BAOS Modules thus enable rapid development of value-added KNX devices, which can naturally be certified by the KNX Association.
