ALT'O LoRaWAN Hydrometric Level Sensor

The Alt'O sensor is a Class A LoRaWAN sensor powered by a disposable 3.6V D-type battery (LS33600 Saft model). It measures the height of clear, brackish, salt, polluted, etc. waters, as well as its own inclination. The power supply voltage can be detected. Data transmission over public or private LoRaWAN® networks occurs periodically or immediately in case of an alert. Installation and commissioning are quick and simple. The sensor adapts to all types of round or square supports and walls (via a mounting bracket). The sensor's design limits wind resistance and ensures robustness in adverse conditions: UV rays and extreme temperatures. Without photovoltaic panels or visible antennas: it integrates perfectly into the surrounding environment and is particularly resistant to vandalism and various types of damage (animal droppings, pollution, saline outdoor environments, immersion).

The sensor is equipped with a magnetic switch for activation and deactivation. Each sensor is identified by a QR code on a label and an NFC tag inside the casing. Measurement data is transmitted individually or aggregated and compressed (batch mode) before being sent over the LoRaWAN® network. Batch mode significantly reduces the amount of data transmitted, while preserving the sensor's battery life. Powered by an LS33600 battery, the sensor has a battery life of over 5 years with a configuration of 1 measurement every 30 minutes and 1 transmission per hour. The battery voltage level is transmitted regularly.
