GW-VIESS: Gateway for Viessmann boilers with LON to Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet IP/MSTP interface

Marcom provides a series of pre-configured gateways to communicate with boilers developed by Viessman, from the following series:

- Vitotronic 050, Model HK1M
- Vitotronic 050, Model HK1W
- Vitotronic 050, Model HK1S
- Vitotronic 050, Model HK3W
- Vitotronic 050, Model HK3S
- Vitotronic 100, Model GC1
- Vitotronic 200, Model GW1
- Vitotronic 300, Model GW2
- Vitotronic 333, Model MW1
- Vitotronic 333, Model MW1S

In particular, Marcom provides an all-in-one solution for reading the LON variables present in Viessman boiler controllers and presenting them in other protocols suitable for reading by a SCADA/HMI supervision system or a PLC.

The main protocols to which data can be transferred are:

- Modbus TCP / Modbus RTU
- BACnet IP / BACnet MSTP

There is no need to use expensive LON network programming environments!

**Operating principle**
The gateway must be configured for each system. In particular, while the configuration of variables and their addressing remains constant, it is necessary to know the Neuron ID (LON serial number) of each interface to allow the gateway to query the station.
