IWM-PL3: Impulse Launch Module for Multi-Jet Water Meters with INDUCTIVE Preparation

IWM-PL3 is suitable for numerous applications for remote reading in residential, commercial, and industrial environments, acting as an electronic impulse launcher that allows consumption acquisition from the meter by third-party systems via a universal interface and integrates advanced counting and fraud detection functions. The use of an inductive target on the meter excludes the possibility of magnetic fraud and makes the application insensitive to pipe vibrations. The IWM-PL3 is compatible with all prepared multi-jet meters (wet dial, semi-dry, and dry) and allows:

- Consumption analysis (with incremental and decremental counting), reverse flow compensation activatable for always perfect alignment between totalizer and meter dial.
- Fraud control (cable cut and removal, external magnetic field application, reverse flow). The presence of reverse flow is

monitored with a dedicated impulse contact.
- Dedicated dosing function available for industrial applications.
- IP68* protection allows the use of the module even for meters installed in harsh environments.
- NFC interface allows device configuration and commissioning using a simple smartphone app (available weight values: 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000), with the possibility to configure the output impulse duration depending on the sensitivity of the acquisition system.
