LMS01-LB-868M: LoRaWAN Leaf Humidity Sensor

The Dragino LMS01-LB/LS is a LoRaWAN leaf humidity sensor for agricultural IoT. It is designed to measure leaf moisture and temperature, sending data to a platform for analysis of leaf conditions such as irrigation, wetness, dew, and frost. The probe is waterproof with an IP67 rating.

LMS01-LB/LS detects leaf moisture and temperature using the FDR method; it detects the dielectric constant caused by liquid on the leaf surface and converts the value into leaf moisture. The probe is designed in the shape of a leaf to best simulate the characteristics of a real leaf. The probe has a density of 15 leaf veins per centimeter, allowing it to detect small drops and achieve higher precision. The LoRa wireless technology used in the LMS01-LB/LS enables the device to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. It provides very long-range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity, minimizing current consumption.

LMS01-LB/LS supports configuration via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and OTA (Over-The-Air) wireless updates, making it easy to use. LMS01-LB/LS is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or a solar panel system with a lithium-ion battery; it is designed for long-term use up to 5 years. Each LMS01-LB/LS is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration; by registering these keys on the local LoRaWAN server, the device will automatically connect after power-on.
