IWM-MB3: Wired M-BUS Module for Water Meters with INDUCTIVE Preparation

IWM-MB3 is suitable for remote reading applications in residential, commercial, and industrial contexts. The M-BUS module enables consumption data acquisition using the standard M-BUS protocol via cable, developed for remote meter reading. The use of an inductive target in the meter dial excludes the possibility of magnetic fraud and makes the application insensitive to pipe vibrations.

The IWM-MB3 is compatible with all multipulse meters prepared (wet dial, semi-dry, and dry) and provides:

- Consumption analysis with reverse flow compensation.
- Fraud detection (module removal, external magnetic field application, reverse flow, leaks). All alarms are recorded and reported in the M-BUS telegram sent by the module.
- IP68* protection allows the module to be used even for meters installed in harsh environments.
- NFC interface allows device configuration and commissioning using a simple smartphone app.
