IWM-TX3: Wireless M-BUS Module for Water Meters with INDUCTIVE Setup

The IWM-TX3 has been designed to enable wireless remote reading in various types of applications from residential to commercial and industrial sectors. Thanks to the inductive target on the meter dial, the radio module allows volume reading without site access constraints in Walk-by or AMR mode, in compliance with the wM-Bus standard.

- Consumption analysis with reverse flow compensation providing a perfect alignment between the totalizer and the meter dial.
- Fraud detection (radio module removal, external magnetic field application, reverse flow, system leak identification). Magnetic tampering of the meter and removal are recorded and reported to the receiving system via radio transmission. Presence of reverse flow is logged in a supplementary register allowing the calculation of water volume passed backward. Leak function can be monitored at readout or via AMR system for timely updates.

• IP68* protection allows use of the module even with meters installed in harsh environments.

• NFC interface enables device configuration and commissioning using a simple smartphone app.
