The M-Bus 900 device is a gateway/converter developed for remote reading of M-Bus meters with a maximum of 4 concurrent clients. It is also a Modbus slave for reading values from PLCs or local displays. M-Bus 900 is a series of gateways/converters designed for remote reading of M-Bus devices using a LAN or the Internet. The M900 device accepts multiple simultaneous Ethernet connections and integrates a Modbus TCP Server / Modbus RTU Slave. The M900 gateway is designed to transparently read all types of standard M-Bus devices using Ethernet TCP or UDP. The gateway translates M-Bus electrical signals to Ethernet. M-Bus messages are read by standard software such as SCADA systems, remote reading programs, configuration programs, databases, etc. A COM port redirection driver is included. It transforms the serial port of the M-Bus 900 into a virtual COM port on the computer. This means that most M-Bus programs on the market can be used regardless of whether they have Ethernet network support or not. M-Bus 900 is available in six different versions: as a master of 5, 20 or 60 devices and accepts simultaneous connections from 2 or 4 clients.
