MB-LI-4 LO Pulse Counter

Four-channel pulse counter with MODBUS RTU output.
The pulse counter is used to count AC/DC signals generated by external devices to determine the number of completed work cycles and to exchange data via the RS-485 port according to the MODBUS RTU protocol.

The MB-LI-4 module is a four-channel unidirectional counter. Each channel is independent and counts pulses based on individual settings. The results are presented as the number of pulses and a rescaled value in a range between 0 and ~4.29 billion. The counter reading can be reset independently for each channel. Once the maximum number of pulses (overflow) is reached, the counter automatically resets and restarts from 0. The module has configurable options for counting pulses with a low signal (0 V) or high signal (V+) and with a rising or falling edge.
Additionally, the counting input can be used as a digital input (DI) with the ability to read its status.
Reading the counted pulse values, a rescaled value, adjusting all counting parameters, communication, and data exchange occur via the RS-485 port using the MODBUS RTU communication protocol. Power supply is indicated by a green LED U. Correct data exchange between the module and another device is indicated by the yellow Tx LED.
