RAK9155: RAK Battery Plus RAKwireless: Solar Kit consists of a 50Ah battery and accessories to connect a solar panel.

Battery Plus is RAK's latest battery system that incorporates a solar charging system and status monitoring. It has been specifically developed for WisGate Edge Pro gateways. It will enable reliable outdoor deployment of the gateway in remote off-grid scenarios where power is unreliable or inaccessible. Not only will the gateway be powered 24/7 thanks to the solar panel option, but all battery data and status can be obtained in the WisGateOS Web interface locally and in WisDM remotely.

With its 50Ah battery, the gateway can operate for more than 2 days without sun.

## Technical Features

Long lifespan - The lithium iron phosphate battery can remain usable for over 10 years, considering it is charged and discharged once a day at ambient temperature (25 °C).
Integrated heating function - The battery integrates a solar charger and heater, it can be directly connected to photovoltaic panels and charged at a temperature below 0 °C.
Lightweight design - The weight of RAK9155 does not exceed 8 kg, facilitating installation by a single person.
High waterproof rating - Thanks to the IP65 rating of the enclosure, RAK9155 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
