Marcom can provide professional solutions for meteorological data detection with different protocols on request: LoRaWAN, cellular communication, Modbus. Below are some of the available solutions

## mSTAUR – OUTDOOR AIR THERMO-HYGROMETERS

The humidity sensor is a capacitor whose dielectric is formed by a hygroscopic polymer. Since the relative dielectric constant of water is approximately 80, a strong variation in capacitance is obtained as the humidity content of this polymer changes. The temperature sensor is a Platinum thermoresistor (Pt 100Ω @0°C). The resistance variation of the Pt100 is transformed into a current or voltage signal linear with temperature.

Geoves thermo-hygrometers consist of precision transducers for measuring air temperature and relative humidity and a microprocessor for managing and compensating the measurements.

The transducers are mounted inside special screens for protection from solar radiation, made of aluminum and treated with special radiant white paints that guarantee easy cleaning and the maintenance of the white color over time.

The screens are in turn protected by the sensor support which acts as a cover for the screens themselves, preventing snow and other debris from above from settling: in this way the screens remain cleaner and whiter, avoiding blackening which causes alterations to the temperature measurement and preserving the correct ventilation of the measuring transducer.

The humidity sensor is capacitive, while the temperature sensor is a Class A Pt100 Platinum thermistor (100Ω@0°C).

## mWD1 - WIND DIRECTION SENSOR “micro” series

The micro series anemometers have been designed for use in applications where low cost, reliability and durability over time are required.

The sensors are made of robust anodized aluminum and are available in versions with natural potentiometer outputs and standardized analog outputs (4...20mA or 0...5Vdc).

Main applications

- Micro and Mini wind power - Wind analysis preliminary to the installation of wind turbines
- Aerogeneration – Functional verification and power-curve of wind turbine blades
- Photovoltaic – Wind monitoring on photovoltaic systems
- Meteorology, Agrometeorology and Irrigation Systems
- Industrial applications
