It offers wireless data connectivity to public HSPA+ networks, combined with support for previous generation telephone services in case of UMTS signal absence. It does not require any software on the PC to operate and is able to securely remote your system over the Internet. It is equipped with DDNS support and therefore provides you with a fixed address even if your contract does not include it.
