Ethernet-MPI Gateway for S7 PLC programming and supervision via Ethernet. The Ethernet-PROFIBUS/MPI gateway is designed in a form factor that fits the PG connection of Siemens S7-300 and S7-400 PLCs. Together with the provided SW driver, it creates an Ethernet interface for connection to the programming PC (works with STEP7). In this case, the power supplied to the gateway comes from the PLCs, and the connection to the PROFIBUS network is made on the gateway's PG connector. When the Ethernet-PROFIBUS/MPI gateway is connected directly to a peripheral unit, 24V power must be supplied externally. Using the latest firmware version, the device provides a web page that allows remote diagnostics of all nodes connected to the PROFIBUS and MPI network.
