TSH231: Waterproof temperature and humidity sensor with 1-Wire interface for industrial, environmental, and telematics monitoring

TSH231 is a waterproof temperature and humidity sensor with a 1-Wire interface, designed for reliable environmental monitoring in industrial, outdoor, and vehicle applications. It provides accurate and stable measurements in installations requiring an IP54 protection level. A precision capacitive element measures humidity, while a bandgap sensor measures temperature. The internal electronics digitize both signals using a 12-bit ADC, ensuring stable long-term performance under harsh conditions.

The TSH231 communicates via the 1-Wire bus and supports connecting multiple sensors on the same line. Each unit includes a unique 64-bit serial identifier, allowing compatible controllers to automatically recognize and manage multiple sensors within a single monitoring system. The robust IP54 enclosure protects the device from dust and water splashes, making it suitable for outdoor and mobile installations. A cable gland with a locknut and a screwless terminal block simplify installation and ensure safe long-term operation. The sensor easily integrates with supported monitoring platforms and is suitable for both new installations and retrofits.
