UPSPro30W Outdoor Backup Power System. 36Ah Battery. 12V with 48V Passive PoE. Polycarbonate Pole/Wall Mt Enclosure

UPSPro series outdoor systems are designed for applications requiring a backup power source to maintain uninterrupted service in the event of an AC power outage. The system is powered over a CAT5 network cable via Power over Ethernet (PoE) using a power supply and PoE injector (included). Features include an advanced battery charge controller to protect against overcharging or over-discharging of the valve-regulated sealed AGM lead-acid batteries. The enclosures have multiple ports for CAT5 cables, antenna cables/connectors, or other wiring. They are ventilated to prevent residual hydrogen gas buildup.

There is a small amount of space inside the enclosures for customer electronics such as controllers, AP boards or wireless CPEs, sensors, inverters, etc. The equipment operates on battery power, which isolates it from power line surges, which is the main cause of outdoor equipment failures.

Models come with a Solar Ready controller so they can also be powered by solar panels in addition to or instead of the power supply and PoE injector.

A typical 250mW wireless access point with an average power consumption of 3.5W will operate for 24 hours with an 8.5Ah battery at ambient temperature or 16 hours at -20 degrees C.
