Transio A52 devices are intelligent RS-232 to RS-422/485 bidirectional converters. 
Data flow control for both RS-422 and RS-485, LED indicators for power and signal status, surge protection.

**Serial connection issues in industrial environments**

Serial communication and reliability can be negatively affected in industrial environments.
