MGB-Series 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP Transceiver

The MGB family consists of SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) transceiver modules specifically designed for high-performance integrated duplex data links over single-mode optical fiber. These transceiver modules comply with the SFP Multisource Agreement (MSA) and are hot-pluggable. These modules offer an easy way to be installed into SFP MSA compliant ports at any time without interrupting the host equipment's operation.

The MGB family of Mini-GBIC Gigabit Ethernet SFP modules can be installed into PLANET Switch products with a mini-GBIC SFP interface. The deployment distance can be extended from 100 meters (TP) to 550 meters (Multi-mode, LC) and up to 120 kilometers (Single-mode, LC).

To meet the growing demand for Industrial Ethernet fiber solutions, Planet releases the MGB-T series 1000BASE-SX/LX/BX transceivers, which can operate reliably in electrically harsh, climatically challenging environments and across a wide temperature range (-40℃ to 85℃). The MGB-T series 1000BASE-SX/LX/BX transceivers offer a fast and easy 1000BASE-SX/LX/BX connection for high-temperature industrial equipment.
