The EDS-408A-PN is a managed Ethernet switch for use in PROFINET networks with 8 10/100Base (Tx) ports.
 The EDS-408A-PN are designed for PROFINET and can be easily integrated into Simatic Step 7 engineering tools. It's easy to configure them through Step 7 and monitor them from HMI panels.  EDS-405A with fast booting, Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain fast-recovery technology can optimize the operation of PROFINET networks.

It also supports management functions such as IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, port mirroring, SNMP, bandwidth management, and email alarming.
