Gateway METERBUS (M-Bus) / Ethernet
M-Bus 800 is a series of gateway/converters designed for the remote reading of M-Bus devices using local network or Internet. 810 has frontal connectors both for Ethernet communication and for serial communication.
810 has frontal connectors both for Ethernet communication and for serial communication.
The gateway 810 is designed to read in a transparently mode all types of standard M-Bus devices using Ethernet TCP or UDP.
The gateway translates electric signals of M-Bus in Ethernet.
M-Bus messages are read from standard software, for example SCADA system, programs of remote reading, configuration programs, data banks, ecc.
A driver for the redirection of COM port is included. It transforms the serial port of the M-Bus 810 in virtual COM port on computer.
This means that the most part of M-Bus programs on the market can be used regardless of whether or not they have support for Ethernet network.
M-Bus 810 is available in 3 different versions: as master of 5, 20 or 60 devices. This because is able to supply directly connected devices to the Mbus network.
There are 4 M-Bus terminals in parallel that use the same physical interface.
With the device is provided a configuration software that allows also configuration operations on Mbus devices, such as the change of address of the device.
