With the Modbus Gateway for ITALSOUND panels it is possible to write through the MODBUS RTU or MODBUS TCP protocol on ITALSOUND panels; up to 20 characters per panel and up to 10 addressable panels from 0 to 99 (in the case of multi-line displays, each of these counts as a panel to which an address is assigned).

The gateway features:

• 1 x RS485 serial port for Modbus RTU connection
• 1 x RS485 serial port for communication with ITALSOUND panels
• 1 x Ethernet port for Modbus TCP connection
• 1 screw connector for 24 VDC power supply (min. 3 W)

Viewing from APP and Modbus RTU / TCP

The CloudHMI APP allows you to access the graphic interface of the gateway for configuring the communication parameters with the panels. To allow connection to the gateway it is necessary to connect it to the Ethernet network using the RJ45 port called ETHERNET 1. The ETHERNET 2 port is used only for service.
To change the address of the ethernet interface, just type the address with a web browser (default: 192.168.212.1); in case of connection failure, check that you have an address on the 192.168.212.X subnet on your network card.
