CMT-G01: IIOT Communication gateway (MQTT, OPC UA, DATABASE)

In an IIoT application, data integration plays a very important role. To achieve real data integration it is essential that communication between the plants in the plant and the information systems at the upper levels (SCADA, MES, ERP ...) is transparent. However, in an establishment where each PLC uses a different communication driver, data integration can be very difficult.

Integration of protocols

Unlike other more expensive and limited connectivity communication gateways, the cMT-G01 is able to communicate with more than 300 PLC brands and to transmit data coming from them to SCADA, MES systems o ERP. The cMT-G01 integrates in all respects a heterogeneous set of devices in a single device.

Data acquisition and analysis

The cMT-G01 has the same functions of acquisition and analysis of the data of an HMI (eg storing the event log, etc.). It is able not only to manage the transfer of data, such as recipe data, between heterogeneous devices, but also to execute macros for arithmetic and logical operations or to convert raw data into sensible data. In addition, the cMT-G01 has the "Scheduler" function that allows you to program events over time. Unlike the IE, XE and mTV series panels, the cMt-G01 does not handle graphics, as it is a pure data server.

Secure data transmission

The two main protocols of the IIT integrated to the cMT-G01, ie MQTT and OPC UA, support the TLS / SSL certificate systems, in order to transmit the data safely from the plants in the plant to the higher level systems such as SCADA, MES and ERP. Furthermore, if the machine is accessed remotely via the cMT-G01 with EasyAccess 2.0, the VPN channel (Virtual Private Network) provided by EasyAccess 2.0 itself is encoded according to the TLS / SSL standard, which ensures data integrity and protection against possible hackers.

Real-time notification of alarms and events

The cMT-G01 can send e-mails to inform operators on the operating status of the machines in the factory, as well as use the 'MQTT Publish' function to send updated data or messages to registered operators (subscribers). Thanks to the 'Easy Notification' feature of EasyAccess 2.0, users can receive immediate notification of the status of the machines, a factor that considerably improves the system's efficiency, reducing the losses caused by an unplanned stop of the plants.
