Client requirements FMA120 was created by Anonimi
Hi, I has a meeting with a prospective client who asked for the following requirements :
1 - When Using RFID, if the Driver does not present the RFID tag to the reader in the vehicle, a buzzer will start sounding and will not stop until driver ids himself ( something like a seat belt alarm). Is this possible ?
2 - There are trucks that have 3 separate refrigerated compartments, do you have trackers that accommodate 3 temperature sensors on one tracker ?

Hello,
1 - If you use a 'Immobilizer' scenario, then buzzer will start when ignition ON. It will not stop sounding until driver attach RFID card to reader.
Buzzer will stop:
- If driver didn't attach RFID (wasn't authorized) and ignition was turned OFF, DOUT (buzzer) will be ON (sounding) for couple of seconds and then turned OFF.
- When driver attach RFID card (authorization completed).
2 - With the latest FMA1 firmware 01.27.15, you can connect 4x 1-wire temperature sensors.

We would like to know how we can implement the buzzer and RFID solution as you sent us below.
Can you give us some more details as how to setup this up using FMA110 ?

Hello,
here is how to configure tracker
1. Set up a 'Ignition source' in 'System' section. Buzzer will be activated by this parameter, we suggest 'Digital input 1' (it has to be connected to vehicle ignition).
2. Now go to 'Features' > 'Scenarios' and enable 'Immobilzer'.
3. Configure 'Digital output control' to 'Digital output 1' or 'Digital output 2'. Select the one you are connected buzzer to.
That's it. The configuration is done. Now when 'Digital input 1' change to value 1, it will active Digital output (the one you selected for a buzzer).
Also you can configure 'iButton list checking', this means that only authorized RFID cards can be attached to reader to stop buzzer. RFID Id has to be written in 'Features' > 'iButton list'.
Best regards
