IGS-1020TF: 8-Port 10/100/1000T + 2-Port 100/1000X SFP Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch

PLANET IGS-1020TF is a 10-port full Gigabit Ethernet industrial switch that offers non-blocking wire-speed performance and great flexibility for Gigabit Ethernet deployment and extension in harsh environments. It provides 8 100/1000BASE-T copper RJ45 ports and 2 additional 100/1000BASE-X SFP fiber interfaces, all in a rugged IP30-rated enclosure with a redundant power system. The IGS-1020TF is suitable for surveillance, secure control, and wireless service applications in harsh climate environments, with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C.

The two integrated mini-GBIC slots in the IGS-1020TF support SFP auto-detection and dual speed via 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) fiber optic modules, meaning the administrator can flexibly choose the appropriate SFP transceiver based on the transmission distance or required transmission speed to efficiently extend the network. The distance can be extended from 550 meters to 2 kilometers (multi-mode fiber) and 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/120 kilometers (single-mode fiber or WDM). They are ideal for uplink applications to switching backbones and long-distance monitoring centers.

Intelligent Power Scaling is a smart algorithm that actively determines the appropriate power level based on cable length. When the IGS-1020TF is connected to an Ethernet cable shorter than 20m, the device can achieve maximum energy savings because the IGS-1020TF automatically detects the Ethernet cable length and reduces power consumption. The connected device can substantially reduce overall power consumption, significantly contributing to energy savings.
