L009UiGS-2HaxD-IN: MikroTik RouterBOARD with gigabit ports and 2.4Ghz ax WiFi

The legendary RB2011 product line has provided affordable, flexible, and robust connectivity for over a decade. In fact, it was our first router with SFP. The time has finally come to update it. But don't worry: we have kept and improved all the key elements and features of the beloved RB2011. Even the red color scheme and the attractive price!

There are three main reasons to choose the L009:

Let's start with the power and performance enhancements.

The L009 features a powerful dual-core ARM CPU. It offers significant improvements when it comes to routing and filtering, complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, and various advanced RouterOS functions. The ARM CPU architecture provides considerable advantages over older MIPS-based devices. Such as utilizing all the latest Linux kernel features. Or implementing custom container projects. The combination of a modern ARM CPU and a full-size USB port is perfect for running custom container projects. For example, you can run a Pi-hole adblocker on this router. Or you can use the USB port to add an LTE modem of your choice. Imagination is the only limit here.

The L009 is up to 4 times faster than the RB2011 in most cases and configurations, from simple fast-path routing to complex bridge filters. In addition, the L009's IPsec hardware encryption ensures lower CPU utilization without measurable performance degradation compared to the normal driver. You can expect approximately 60-90 Mbps throughput speeds.

All ports are now Gigabit Ethernet ports. The first port features PoE-in. You can use it instead of the DC jack to power the unit. And on the last port there is PoE-Out*, to power other devices. Another useful addition is an SFP cage that supports both Gigabit and 2.5 Gigabit connectivity. We have tested a variety of MikroTik SFP modules and cables that support higher speeds; 2.5G capability makes a sysadmin's life much easier: there is a console port for quick direct-access configuration!

At the heart of all this is a super-fast Marvell Peridot Switchchip that offers an impressive 2.5 Gigabit full-duplex connection to the CPU on all ports except Ether1. The first port has its own full-duplex Gigabit line to the CPU. This means: countless configurations without bottlenecks!

Even the 2.4 GHz dual-chain wireless connectivity is now much more powerful. Generation 6 or the ax wireless standard offers up to 90% higher speeds in the 2.4 GHz spectrum! Not to mention the overall signal stability. It can handle more clients with better responsiveness.

The new enclosure is a spectacular innovation in itself. It is the same form factor you've seen in our highly sought-after RB5009 devices. It has several extremely useful properties. Firstly, the case acts as a massive heatsink, protecting your configurations from overheating. But here's the fun part: with a simple set of accessories, you can fit up to four of these routers into a single 1U rackmount space.
