Il BaseBox2 è un dispositivo wireless esterno da 2,4 Ghz, basato sul nostro famoso modello RB912, dotato di due connettori SMA per antenne e un cappuccio per cavi per la protezione dall'umidità. Sono inoltre disponibili tre posti aggiuntivi per i connettori dell'antenna, nel caso in cui si desideri utilizzare lo slot MiniBox BaseBox per una ulteriore interfaccia wireless per realizzare un dispositivo dual band o un modem 3G/4G. La custodia può essere aperta con una sola mano ed è protetta contro gli elementi. Le uscite USB, Ethernet e di messa a terra sono fornite sul fondo, dietro una porta di protezione. Viene fornito con un anello di montaggio per il montaggio su torre/palo e viene fornito anche un supporto per guida DIN separato. La confezione include anche un iniettore PoE e un alimentatore.
