On request, Marcom can provide professional solutions for weather data collection with different protocols: LoRaWAN, cellular communication, Modbus. Here are some of the available solutions

mSTAUR - OUTDOOR AIR THERMOHYGROMETERS.

The humidity sensor is a capacitor whose dielectric consists of a hygroscopic polymer. Since the relative dielectric constant of water is about 80, there is a strong variation in capacitance as the moisture content changes moisture content of this polymer. The temperature sensor is a thermoresistor platinum (Pt 100Ω @0°C). The change in resistance of Pt100 is transformed into a current or voltage signal linear with temperature.

Geoves thermohygrometers consist of precision transducers for measuring air temperature and relative humidity and a microprocessor for managing and compensating measurements.

The transducers are mounted inside special shields for protection from solar radiation, made of aluminum and treated with special white radiant paints that ensure easy cleaning and maintenance of the white color over time.

The screens are protected in turn by the sensor holder, which acts as a cover for the screens themselves, preventing snow and other debris from coming from above: this keeps the screens cleaner and whiter, avoiding blackening that causes alterations in temperature measurement, and proper ventilation of the measurement transducer is preserved.

The humidity sensor is a capacitive type, while the temperature sensor is a Class A Platinum Pt100 thermistor (100Ω@0°C).

mWD1 - "micro" series WIND DIRECTION SENSOR

Micro series anemometers are designed for use in applications where low cost is required, reliability and durability.

The sensors are made of rugged anodized aluminum and are available in versions with natural potentiometer outputs and normalized analog outputs (4...20mA or 0...5Vdc).

Main applications

  • Micro and Mini wind - Wind analysis prior to wind turbine assembly
  • Wind turbine - Functional and power-curve verification of wind turbines
  • Photovoltaics - Wind monitoring on photovoltaic installations.
  • Meteorology, Agrometeorology and Irrigation Systems.
  • Industrial Applications.
