The PMU 3 converts the 0...10 Vdc signal into a 24 Vac 3-point control signal. The actuator capacity must not exceed 36 VA. When the input signal changes, the PMU 3 moves the actuator position as long as the change requires it. After power-on, the PMU3 drives the actuator to the negative position for the selected driving time. When the input is less than 0.5 V, the actuator is brought to the negative position for three seconds every 5 minutes. When the input is greater than 9.5 V, the actuator is brought to the positive position for a few seconds every 5 minutes. The 24 Vac voltage is wired to the common terminal of the actuator motor and the actuator motor's PM, and the PMU 3 drives the actuator by connecting G0 to the motor control terminals. LEDs indicate the actuator's driving direction. The range of the motor's operating time is selected inside the housing and can be adjusted by the K trimmer (coefficient for operating time).
