ProtoNode devices have been designed for all those who need to make their legacy devices coexist with other protocols.

ProtoNode devices are the best solution for flexibility and versatility available on the market today. They support virtual node mode, allowing multiple OEM controllers to be connected to a single ProtoNode, which will be seen as separate controllers.

ProtoNode devices are configured by compiling a CSV file and uploading it from the web interface to the device.
No software to install on the PC, as the web interface allows you to perform any operation: from uploading the configuration to updating the firmware, from debugging protocol communication on both the client and server side, to querying the internal memory areas of the gateway.

The ProtoNode package includes all the hardware and software necessary to interface your product in various networks with different protocols. Multiple drivers can be installed simultaneously on each ProtoNode.

There are different versions of the gateway depending on the interfaces required for communication:

• PRT-ND-RER: features two RS-485 serial ports for communication with different protocols, an Ethernet port for configuration, debugging, and use with one or more protocols.
• PRT-ND-LER: features one RS-485 serial port for communication with various protocols, a Lonworks TP/FT-10 port for interfacing with the Lonworks bus, an Ethernet port for configuration, debugging, and use with one or more protocols.
• PRT-ND-KNX: available in two versions with an RS-485 serial port or a Lonworks port, features a KNX port on which it can be configured as a transparent node in the network, an Ethernet port for configuration, debugging, and use with one or more protocols.
• PRT-ND-MBUS: brand new Protocessor product, features a Meterbus port, an RS-485 port for communication with various protocols, and an Ethernet port for configuration, debugging, and use with one or more protocols. Unique in its kind is the ability to configure this gateway as a Meterbus master, with support for up to 60 slaves, or as a Meterbus slave. In this second case, it can be configured to bring any type of device onto the Meterbus bus: Modbus RTU or TCP, BACnet IP or MSTP, ...
