Marcom OPC Server S7.Net allows fast and comfortable access to process data in S7-200 (via CP-243), S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, S7-1500 and LOGO controllers, using a single server. Variables are constantly addressed using the STEP7 semantics specific to Siemens development environments.
With any client application that is compatible with OPC specifications, all input and output data, datablocks and markers can be read and written. Simultaneous access to an unlimited number of controllers is possible.
For communication with Marcom OPC Server S7.Net it is not necessary to modify the program. Access to controllers can be done directly via Ethernet.
An intelligent algorithm for managing read and write requests optimizes data throughput extremely efficiently: block reading allows unparalleled data refresh.
Configuration is done through a convenient graphical interface, in manual mode or thanks to a tool for importing symbolic names from STEP7 projects, Excel files or .db files exported directly from TIA Portal. Existing configurations can, for example, be exported to Excel from visualization or process control systems to be conveniently uploaded to Marcom OPC Server S7.Net.
