Furthermore, given the nature of the hotel industry in general, it is important that the thermostat is robust, flexible in function and design. The SMT-131 thermostat has been designed with these important objectives in mind.
The SMT-131 also offers advanced energy conservation functions, such as limit set point control, automatic heating and cooling when unoccupied, as well as Modbus RTU communications for integration with the 'Building Automation System' (BAS) or the 'Hotel Check In' system.
