RAK5804 is a WisBlock IO that extends the WisBlock system with a wide range of additional IOs. It is the solution for connecting your sensors, displays, or buttons to your WisBlock solution. RAK5804 exposes IO, I2C, and UART pins to the user application ports via 3 connectors. Users can connect via these connectors, sensors, digital I/O, analog I/O, and slave devices via I2C and UART ports to complete their final IoT solution. RAK5804 combined with RAK4631 WisBlock Core offers your solution an interface for non-standard sensors and user interfaces. This interface is the bridge between such sensors and LoRaWan® communication, LoRa® point-to-point connections, or BLE. RAK5804 is ideal for battery-powered applications because the WisBlock system allows the module to be completely shut down to further reduce the system's power consumption. The circuits are also protected by TVS and prevent output power overload with a PTC thermistor.
