I've bought an energycam with rs485 interface.
i've configured it using an usb rs485 converter and installed it on a gas meter.
it works like a charm for 2-3-4 months and then it doesn't read meter anymore. I've tried to powercylce it but still no luck.
only way is to reinstall it using software or automatic procedure triggered by button.

Perhaps the ""auto install after boot"" feature of the EnergyCam is not activated? In this case the device stops working after power failure.
