Description
CoolPlug and CooLinkHub are CoolAutomation's gateway solution to help you remotely control and monitor multi-split and mini-split air conditioning systems. The system allows for simple integration with Home Automation and Smart Home solutions. The gateway supports HVAC professionals and Home Automation integrators who need to save time on complex HVAC integration.
There are two versions of the product: one with wired connection, the other with wireless connection.
The CoolPlug and CooLinkHub system offers a cost-effective universal solution for HVAC integrations. In parallel with the advantages of CoolMasterNet, we have simplified VRF HVAC and Home Automation with a Multi-split and Mini-split connectivity solution for home air conditioning systems and smaller offices.
HVAC Professionals
Until now, the ability to provide a mobile application with easy access to indoor units and an intuitive interface has not been present in the HVAC manufacturers' price list. CoolAutomation has developed an application that allows your customers to remotely control their Mini-split and Multi-split air conditioning system. This is also possible when the AC units, installed on the premises, have been produced by different companies and installed by different installers. Even if the units do not have built-in Wi-Fi or are of a different type of indoor unit (ducted, wall-mounted, cassette and others). Installing HVAC with our devices will allow your customers to have such an application.
How It Works
The solution combines two key elements: CoolPlug, a device that easily connects to the indoor unit, and CooLinkHub which connects all CoolPlugs together, with direct connectivity to a main channel (Ethernet (TCP-IP), RS232, Modbus and KNX). As a result, you can connect to any Home Automation system, as well as take advantage of the cloud-based CoolRemote application.
How to connect
We suggest consulting our quick installation guide to understand the process, but essentially it involves three simple steps:
Connect the CoolPlugs to the indoor units
Connect the CoolPlugs to the CooLinkHub
Connect CooLinkHub to the router or central home automation control panel
