Frequently asked questions

All devices in the CoolMaster family (including Pro and Edge models) offer a flexible hardware architecture that provides up to 7/8 logical/physical communication lines, identified on the device as:
- L1 and L2: Primarily dedicated to brands such as Daikin, Sanyo, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi Electric.
- L4, L5, L6, and L7: Dedicated to brands that use specific polarities or protocols such as LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy, Gree, Midea, Haier, etc.
- L8: Usually accessible via a USB Host port (via specific adapters, for example for Fujitsu systems or particular networks).
Interoperability note: It is possible to connect multiple lines and even different brands simultaneously on the same device, provided certain hardware mutual exclusions are respected (for example, the use of some lines excludes the simultaneous activation of others due to internal jumpers/DIP switches).
