RAK7243 Pilot Gateway Pro is a device consisting of a Raspberry Pi 3B+, RAK2245 Pi HAT which includes a GPS module and a heatsink to improve performance and thermal dissipation management, and an optional RAT2013 Cellular Pi HAT. Its casing is built with an aluminum enclosure.

For the integrated RAK2245 Pi HAT, it uses Semtech's SX1301 chip, whose embedded LoRa concentrator IP core is a powerful digital signal processing engine.

It is capable of receiving up to 8 LoRa packets sent simultaneously with different spread factors on different channels and is available in multiple variants, so it can be used for international standard bands.

This unique capability allows for the implementation of innovative network architectures advantageous over other short-range systems. For the integrated RAK2013 Cellular Pi HAT, it supports optional QUECTEL BG96 / EG91 / EG95 which supports NB-IoT / CAT-M / CAT1 LTE / CAT4 LTE. It follows Raspberry Pi specifications and is easy to assemble with Raspberry Pi and the RAK2245 Pi HAT module. Pilot Gateway Pro is ideal for prototyping, proof-of-concept demonstration, or for evaluation. It includes a ready-to-use LoRaWAN Gateway operating system that can be connected to a LoRaWAN server. It is also easy for developers to use and simple for less experienced users to configure the LoRaWAN system.

It is the best solution in terms of functions and connectivity to address a variety of applications such as Smart Grid, Intelligent Farm, and other IoT business applications.

RAK7243-0-915 is the version without LTE with a working frequency of 915 MHz.
